In order for the BM team to be effective, we need to spin it off into its own separate entity and give it the power to modify the code base and make improvements. It doesn't make sense for that team to rely heavily on existing brains, since they all are hard at work on the projects and is prone to get very busy. It's better if the BM team has the ability to reach a consensus, make decisions and enact them. So let us outline some of the roles that we need to fill in order to get this team up to speed, then we can figure out who will fill those roles.

REQUIREMENTS

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Graphic design for advertising, POS, brochures, catalogues and creative concepts.

  • Conceptualize ideas.

  • Communicate with clients.

  • Creative development of print materials.

  • Creative development of web graphics (if possible).

  • Offers creative and economical solutions to our clients while maintaining strong brand consistency.

  • Decides the most effective way of getting a message across in print and multimedia using a variety of methods (including, but not limited to: color, type, illustration, photography, animation, etc).

  • Delegates to and directs the work of graphics designers, temps and interns when necessary.

  • Coordinates production of creative materials

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graphic/Advertising Design or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 5+ years experience in graphic design field.

  • Demonstrated strong visual communi- cation design skill.

  • Creative team player.

  • Working to deadlines, a sense of urgency.

  • Passionate about design and your career.

  • Knowledge of web designs a bonus.

  • A 12 month advertising or design agency background is an added value.
